ESSENTIAL MAINTENANCE WORKS:
 
A5 KILSBY TO WEEDON Multi-Disciplinary Project   Update to Bulletin 6 – 10.6.2019
 
 ***THE BELOW RESURFACING WORKS HAVE NOW BEEN RESCHEDULED  ***    Works on the weekend of 8pm Friday 14h – 6am Monday 17th June 2019. Phase 2 (from Weedon Bec crossroads to the new Flore roundabout). to resurface the carriageway. THERE WILL BE VERY LIMITED ACCESS VIA CAR TO YOUR HOMES AND BUSINESSES DURING THIS TIME – PLEASE FIND ALTERNATIVE PLACES TO PARK IF YOU NEED TO USE YOUR CAR DURING THIS TIME. 
 
Phase 1 (from BP to South Side of Traffic Lights by the Cross Roads Hotel on the A5  Deep drainage works in the carriageway will continue so the road will remain closed.  Those with permits or prior agreed permission will be allowed access via foot and vehicles to their properties and businesses. The resurfacing works here are to be scheduled for a later date.

We are extremely sorry for any inconvenience this will cause but this work is essential to improve road safety and drainage in this area.  Due to the amount of heavy industrial vehicles working and manoeuvring in this area we have to close the road to prevent injury to you, your vehicles and our workforce. We are doing our upmost to cause minimal disruption.  Please plan ahead and allow extra time for your journeys.  
 
Note – Unfortunately current weather conditions may cause the works to be rescheduled again.  We will notify you as soon as possible if this occurs.
