Highways England will be carrying out essential maintenance work on the A5 between Weedon crossroads and Kilsby. This includes repairing damaged drains, resurfacing the carriageway, renewing bridge joints and kerbs, refreshing road markings and installing road studs and traffic loops.

This is due to start on 4th March and is scheduled for completion by the end of October. They will be working between 8 pm and 6 am Monday to Thursday (week night closures) and from 8 pm Friday until 6 am Monday (full weekend closures on selected weekends). Full diversion routes will be agreed with the Local Authority.
Access to businesses and residences will be maintained wherever possible .
