Daventry District Council’s Local Lotto is now open for charities, sports clubs, and community groups to sign up to.

Groups that sign up can generate a modest income for themselves by encouraging their members and supporters to buy a weekly ticket and elect for 40p of the ticket price to go to their good cause.

Ticket buyers also have the chance to win prizes from £5 to £25,000 in the weekly draw. The sign up process is very simple. Just go to www.local-lotto.co.uk and click on the ‘good causes’ button.

You will be asked to provide some information about your cause and need to include some ‘marketing blurb’ that will appear on your webpage. This needs to say what you will spend your lotto income on, to encourage ticket buyers to support your cause. You can also upload your logo if you have one.
