I’m sure the whole village of Long Buckby will like to join us in wishing Chris Haynes a long and happy retirement.

Chris and his milk float have been a familiar sight around the village for many years now.  Always arriving early no matter what the weather to deliver a pinta for that morning cuppa.  Over the years he’s always been cheerful and helpful and he will be very much missed by a good many residents of Long Buckby and surrounding villages.

We’ve been incredibly lucky to still have an independent, local family firm delivering our milk day in day out all year round, a service we’ve relied on and enjoyed, Chris has never let us down.

Thank you, Chris & Family, – you will be missed by many but we wish you a happy and healthy retirement. We would also like to wish every success to the family who are taking over the round under Chris’s guidance.
