What we are doing / the benefits – Northamptonshire Highways are scheduled to carry out some essential repairs to the culvert located on Foxhill Road, Long Buckby.

Traffic Management To maintain the health and safety of the workforce and the public the works will be carried out under a full road closure. Access will NOT be maintained for residents and Businesses during the working hours. The onsite team will also be positioned at the road closure gates to assist where required.

What about parking? During the operation please do not park blocking the access route for cars and pedestrians. Please park safely and legally elsewhere.

During the works: Vehicle access to properties will be maintained. Delays are likely so please allow a little extra time for your journey. Please adhere to any advisory signs and speak to the onsite operatives to arrange access.

Pedestrians: Access will be maintained when safe to do so.

Cyclists: Access will be maintained when safe to do so and cyclists will be required to dismount before proceeding through the works.

Public transport: No bus routes run through Foxhill Road.

Emergency services: If access is absolutely necessary, we will arrange to get you through the closure, but there would be a delay as the man-anchor would require dismantling
