Are we Re-opening?

The wording of the Government's recent announcement is ambiguous. It states that children's playgrounds can re-open "provided they can do so safely". Implicit in this is the earlier regulation (not yet rescinded) that in public places touch-surfaces' must be frequently & regularly sterilised.

The Long Buckby Rec Committee has no capacity whatsoever to fulfil this requirement.

At present we are discussing our best response to the revised regulations bearing in mind that it is not just the children but their families & the wider community who will suffer should the Rec become a 'virus-exchange'
