The National Lottery Community Fund has announced that the Government's Coronavirus Community Fund will be open for business from 10am on Friday 22 May.
The first tranche will be £200m which will focus on two objectives:
1. To increase community support to vulnerable people
2. To reduce temporary closures of essential charities and social enterprises
Grants will cover service costs, where organisations are experiencing an increased demand and/or short-term reduction in income.
