In these challenging times, it is handy to know that our local businesses are still partially open to continue to support the community.
This one in particular (The Garden Centre at Whilton Locks) has asked if we can distribute the following for awareness.
So please spread the word around the Parish, as many of you may well benefit from the services that they are offering at this time.
They also have a Pet Shop on site that will benefit some owners.

We are here at the garden centre looking after our plants and pets. We are also, still here for you – we know how beneficial gardening and plants can be for our mental health and wellbeing. So if there is anything essential you need delivering, from plants & compost, to pet foods & accessories, we can deliver it to you.
All you need to do is follow these 3 easy steps:
1. Phone us on 01327 843100 and we can pop an order together for you.
2. Pay by debit or credit card over the phone – complete contactless payment.
3. We deliver your goods to your doorstep, making sure to step away to a safe distance. But waiting for you to collect so we know they and you are safe. Giving you a little wave whilst doing so!
You are not alone whilst in isolation, please call us, we will try our hardest to help you.

Our pet shop will still be open. However, we are operating a strict 1 customer at a time rule. We are asking for customers to wait at the main door to be advised when they can come through to the pet shop. We are still caring for our pets on site, they are being cared for by our team, but they are not for sale at this current time.
We will be back to normal, and open as soon as we feel is safe to do so, and will continue to be led by the government.

P.S. We are a family run, independent Garden Centre. We have been open since 2004 and the site is vibrant and full of interesting stuff. As we are independent we are able to choose our own stock, which means that we have one-off pieces, and some more unusual items, whilst still catering for all your gardening needs. Although our Garden Centre is closed to customers, we are still here for our animals and plants.
