Long Buckby Rural Safety Group
Long Buckby is one of the pilot villages for a Rural Safety Initiative. The group has been gathering information on problems that affect safety and the quality of life in Long Buckby and from the responses received to date, we have found that the main areas of concern in the village relate to parking, bad driving and anti-social behaviour. With the help of the Police, Parish Councillors, Neighbourhood Watch and other members of the group, wherever possible, we have responded to the information received to try to improve the situation.
The Rural Safety Group want to be kept informed of issues that concern our community, so if you have seen something that you think we should know about, please complete one of the slips at the side of the posting boxes (located at the Doctors' Surgery, Library, Post Office, Long Buckby Pharmacy and the Peacock public house) or fill in a report form online. If you put your name and telephone number (or e-mail address) too, we will let you know what we are doing about it.
KEEP THE INFORMATION COMING IN!
