Trains

Long Buckby has a regular train service run by London Midland, at least hourly, throughout the day to Northampton and London, and to Rugby and Euston. A slightly more limited service runs at the weekend. Information and tickets can be obtained as follows;

Long Buckby Station
The booking office is open from 6.15 am until 1.30 pm, Mondays to Fridays (closes 1.00 pm on Friday). There is also a ticket machine near the booking office.
 
Telesales
The primary ticket sales number is 08705 125 240.  This is open from 8.00 am until 8.00 pm. Alternatively The London Midland Telesales number is 0844 811 0133. The National Rail Enquiries number for train times is 08457 484950.

Buses

There is a free bus timetable booklet issued by Northamptonshire County Council which is available from the Library, Post Office and newsagent listing details of all local road and rail services. Check this for up-to-date timetable information. Rail timetables are available from the booking office.

Daventry Area Community Transport (DACT)

Provides transport services for medically related journeys to hospital, surgeries etc., for people who cannot use public transport. All drivers are volunteers and there is a small charge per mile. Transport tokens are accepted. Community minibuses are available for group hire.
