I'm your local representative for Cancer Research UK. I look after anyone wanting to fundraise from the area - from coffee mornings, to leaping out of perfectly good planes on strings and a hanky! I've been with Cancer Research UK for 12 years.

Cancer Research UK has many local fundraising groups acting as a  focus for local people, doing local fundraising. I'd like to get one started in Long Buckby. I'm looking to link up with anyone who might be interested. Our local clubs get involved in all sorts of events, are welcoming to all ages and are great for social interaction. Some have been going over 40 years, so there must be something good in being part! From Cancer Research UK's point of view, local support through a local group is invaluable. It raises the profile of what we do, raises awareness of cancer issues and generates ever more fundraising. Thanks to that, we can do increasingly more research to help more local people.
